  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

  • CHEESECAKE LAYER:
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°. Line a 9-in. square baking pan with foil, letting ends extend up sides; grease foil.
