Walsh Family Grilled Pork Tenderloins

This is one of my friend's favorite family dinners, and one of my family's, too. It’s absolutely delicious, and even more so when cooked on a charcoal grill.

Walsh Family Grilled Pork Tenderloins

TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. + marinating Grill: 20 min.
YIELD: 8 servings.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh gingerroot
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pork tenderloins (1 pound each)

Instructions

  • 1. In a bowl or shallow dish, combine the first 7 ingredients. Add the pork and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • 2. Drain pork, discarding marinade. Place pork on an oiled grill rack. Grill, covered, over indirect medium-hot heat for 20-25 minutes or until a thermometer reads 145°. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
