Special Pork Chops

I work 9 hours a day, so I need delicious and simple recipes like this one. My husband thinks I work hard fixing meals, but these chops are good and easy. In summer, I can my own salsa and use some to top these chops.

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless pork chops (6 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) salsa

Instructions

  • 1. In a large cast-iron or other ovenproof skillet, brown the pork chops in oil; drain any fat. Pour salsa over chops. Bake, uncovered, at 350° until a thermometer reads 145°, 20-25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.
